Wow Paul, this is fantastic. Another candidate for a “how I did it” article . . .
Thank you Chris. Its another simple job, matt varnish over the original Bachmann Black and a little toning down of the boiler with Tamiya ‘German Grey’ for the soot type finish, and then pastels and a few washes to bring the warmth back into the colors. I’ve not done much weathering of late, but I need to do a selection of Panniers and Jinties that I’ve worked on through Spring. I’ll possibly do a couple of stages of those.
