It’s good to take a step away from stuff.
This post was to be an #FEF theme, but having been away for a few days last week mixing work with pleasure, (it can work), I thought I’d put up some pretty pictures instead 🙂
The last time I was on Yr Wyddfa I was perched on Crib Goch as my starter for ten. Quite the intro for hill walking, if you know, you know!
These are all north Welsh locations, it’s a country I love and is excellent for detoxing, and with stunning scenery. If you’ve not been there, go.
If I had done #fef, it would have been this, so a win win, pretty pictures and an #fef!
Nice to get that kind of break. You can take it a bit for granted when you live next to the sea like I do these days!
That said, spending a 12 hour shift driving buses in Aberdeen serves to keep you grounded and appreciating living in this village in the days I don’t work. I’m dropping from three days to two soon though which will help. I do need to develop a new income stream to compensate for the third shift.
I really need a weathering portfolio to help sell my wares!
Quick bit of pedantry though, surely that’s the back of the 08 if you take the standpoint of 1952 when the first one rolled out.
I just got myself a secondhand Hornby one again for St Clements. Whilst the Bachmann one is decent enough, the Hornby one is much better across the board!
All the best! 😊

08, back, front, tomayto, tomato etc 🙂
